About us...
JCADA is a multi-award-winning performing arts academy where confidence, creativity and excellence come together. Specialising in dance, acrobatics, speech & drama and private singing tuition, we inspire every student to achieve their full potential through expert teaching, graded examinations and unforgettable performance opportunities.
Conveniently located just two minutes' walk from Boston town centre, JCADA provides a welcoming, professional and inspiring environment where students of all ages can learn, grow and thrive.
At our multi-award-winning academy, we offer a spacious 1,240 sq ft main studio featuring full-length mirrors, ballet barres and air conditioning, creating the ideal space for dance and performing arts training throughout the year.
Alongside our main studio, we have a dedicated private coaching studio for one-to-one dance lessons and two private music tuition rooms, currently being renovated as we continue to invest in our academy.
Parents are welcome to relax in our comfortable reception area while classes are in progress, making every visit to JCADA enjoyable for the whole family.

At JCADA, we believe dance is about so much more than learning steps. Our mission is to nurture creativity, confidence and strong technical foundations in every student, providing a warm, inclusive and inspiring environment where every student feels encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Classes We Offer
At JCADA, we believe the strongest performers are versatile performers. To help every dancer develop strong technical foundations, artistry and performance confidence, all students are required to attend classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz and Contemporary as part of their weekly training.

Every class is designed to inspire, challenge and encourage our students to achieve their full potential while enjoying every step of their dance journey. Whether working towards examinations, performing on stage or simply dancing for the love of it, every student is supported to become the very best version of themselves.
While many of our former students have gone on to study at prestigious dance and performing arts schools across the UK, our greatest success is seeing every student grow in confidence, develop lifelong skills and achieve goals they never thought possible.

An enrolment form and participation waiver must be completed for all dancers before joining any class.
Uniform Requirements
At JCADA, we believe wearing a uniform helps create a sense of pride, belonging and equality within our academy. It also allows teachers to clearly see alignment and technique, helping every dancer perform at their very best. School uniform is compulsory for all classes and can be purchased exclusively through our online dance store:

Hair & Jewellery:For health and safety, all long hair should be neatly secured in either a classic ballet bun or French plaits, depending on the class. Jewellery should be kept to an absolute minimum, with only small stud earrings permitted where appropriate.
Promotional Wear: Show your JCADA pride with our range of personalised promotional clothing, including rhinestone t-shirts, hoodies, onesies, shorts and leggings—perfect for travelling to classes, competitions and performances.

Class Fees & Membership
At JCADA, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional value for high-quality dance training. Our classes run for 36 weeks per year (aligned as closely as possible with school terms), but to make things easier for families, fees are divided into 12 equal monthly membership payments - helping you spread the cost.
Every new dancer is welcome to enjoy one free trial lesson before joining.
If you decide to leave JCADA, we kindly ask for one month’s paid notice.
Bronze - Up to 1 hour tuition per week - £20 per month
Silver - Up to 2 hours tuition per week - £25 per month
Gold -Up to 3 hours tuition per week - £30 per month
Platinum - Up to 4 hours tuition per week - £35 per month
Diamond - Up to 5 hours tuition per week - £40 per month
Elite - Up to 6 hours tuition per week -£45 per month
Examinations
JCADA is renowned for its outstanding examination results, with dancers who demonstrate exceptional technical ability and performance quality often nominated by external examiners for prestigious championship opportunities.
We hold graded examinations and medal tests regularly throughout the academic year, providing dancers with official accreditation and a clear record of their progression and attainment.
Exams not only recognise hard work but also motivate our dancers to strive for excellence, offering the chance to shine and take pride in their achievements.
Performance Opportunities
At JCADA, we create performance experiences that inspire confidence, celebrate achievement, and make lasting memories.
We produce a spectacular full-school show every other year at Blackfriars Theatre — a dazzling production packed with sparkle, glitz, and the chance for every dancer to shine under the stage lights. On alternate years, families are invited to a special Watching Week on Stage at Blackfriars, where they can enjoy seeing classes in action in a professional theatre setting.
JCADA is also proud to be the chosen provider of dancers and choreography for the local professional pantomime - a role we have held for five consecutive years. This prestigious opportunity gives our dancers the experience of performing alongside professional actors, singers, and entertainers, developing both their stagecraft and professionalism.
Selected dancers may also be invited to represent JCADA in competitions and festivals, with participation based on attendance, merit, and attitude. These opportunities allow our students to showcase their skills, broaden their experience, and take pride in representing the academy.

AUTUMN TERM 2026
First lessons of term:
Monday 7th September, Tuesday 8th September, Wednesday 9th September, Thursday 10th September, Friday 11th September, Saturday 12th September
HALF TERM (No Classes): Monday 26th October, Tuesday 27th October, Wednesday 28th October, Thursday 29th October, Friday 30th October
Due to the NPAA Championships there are NO CLASSES on Saturday 7th November. We are dancing on Saturday 24th October and Saturday 31st October as normal.
Last lessons of term:
Monday 30th November, Tuesday 1st December, Wednesday 2nd December, Thursday 3rd December, Friday 4th December, Saturday 5th December
💡 Reminder: JCADA fees are paid monthly and cover the full term, including holiday breaks, ensuring your place in class is secured year-round.

Where possible, classes run to coincide with school term times.
Monday: 4.00 - 9.30 pm
Tuesday: 4.00 - 9.30 pm
Wednesday: 4.00 - 9.30 pm
Thursday: 4.00 - 9.15 pm
Friday: 4.00- 9.15 pm
Saturday: 9.00 am - 5.15 pm
Sunday: Reserved for private lessons. competition rehearsals, exams and workshops.
